ABV Gallery Announces ‘Tiny Doors & Friends’ a Group Exhibition Opening Reception ATLANTA, GA - ABV Gallery is thrilled to announce ‘Tiny Doors & Friends’ a Group Exhibition, opening June 24, 2023. This show will feature the works of over 60 artists created in collaboration with Tiny Doors ATL. Each artist is working in their own individual style on a door created by Tiny Doors ATL.

All of these brand-new works will be for sale at the event through an online auction. Karen Anderson Singer is the Founding Director and Principal Artist of Tiny Doors ATL, a public art project that combines her passion for miniatures and street art. Originally from Michigan, Karen's journey in art has included teaching and touring with a jazz/punk band. After obtaining a Visual Art degree from Rutgers University, Karen settled in Atlanta and installed the first tiny door in her neighborhood. Today, Tiny Doors ATL has inspired a global movement, and Karen volunteers her time to consult with artists around the world. In addition to creating custom installations, Karen is a public speaker and advocate for the power of public art to unite communities.

Tiny Doors ATL, the work of artist Karen Anderson Singer, has become a cherished staple within Atlanta’s creative community. For nearly 9 years, these small street sculptures have captivated the imagination of locals and tourists alike by reflecting the spirit, architecture, and unique elements of the surrounding community.

The Tiny Doors ATL map is a popular tourist attraction as well as a date-night staple with a quarter million views and counting. With the installation of a door, what was once a wall or the column of a bridge becomes an entrance to collective creativity and an invitation to wonder. The numbered doors around Atlanta are always free to visit and accessible to people of all ages.

This show, held at ABV Gallery located at 659 Auburn Ave NE Suite 504, will debut with an opening reception on June 24, 2023 from 6-10 PM. The reception will allow attendees the opportunity to engage with artists and immerse themselves in the enchanting world of Tiny Doors ATL.

This exhibition will remain on display for two full weeks, closing on July 8, 2023.
